Katy came to the limelight after her appearance at the Lizzie McGuire movie of 2003 and was later well known After her appearance at The Borgia (2006) where she took the lead role as
Giulia Farnese, and Third Person (2013) movie where she took the lead role as Gina. She also appeared in the 2004 movie Tre Metri Sopra il Cielo,” in which she co-starred with Riccardo Scamarcio and portrayed the character of Babi. And also made her first-ever on-screen debut in the Rai 1 drama Il Grande Torino which was known to be directed by Claudio Benevento.
